Our rigid quality control procedures require that each box be tested at two different stages of production to certify that the timing curve does not vary + 1/2 degree from OEM timing curve. Our quality control procedures require that 20% of each production run be tested at 1000 RPM intervals and up to 11,000 RPM to ensure timing curve accuracy throughout. Each CDI box meets or exceeds OEM specs and quality before it leaves our manufacturing facility.
CAUTION: OPEN PACKAGES ARE NOT RETURNABLE. Before opening package, check the following:
- Mounting holes (on some applications new holes may be drilled on chassis or relocation of CDI unit.
- Check to see if wire connectors are correct for your application.
- Check that all adaptors and grommets are in package.
SPECIAL NOTE: Before installing a CDI box, check all ignition components and connections to ensure they are within tolerances. If some components are out of spec, they should be replaced as they can cause premature CDI failure.
