The Mountain Lab Scout 2W 2-Way Radio is Mountain Labs most bulletproof radio. The Scout 2W Radio has been designed to handle your most extreme backcountry adventures. This 2-Way Radio is built strong, with It features an IP67 dust and waterproof rating and a tough and durable exterior.

The Scout Radio transmits at an industry-leading 2 watts – the most allowed in a two-way radio that doesnt require a license. Our general rule of thumb is that in a clear, flat area, we expect around 3km of range, however, transmit range is often dependent on the terrain you are in as interference with the line of sight will reduce this.

The Mountain Lab Scout Radio is fully compatible with all FRS/GMRS radios on the market (including the ROAM 2W Radio and BCA radios), and can be used with or without the included speaker microphone.
