These are still great sleds with poor CDI’s…but our FIREPLUG CDI has solved that!

Verify the wire colors & connectors in pic’s match your OEM CDI connector configuration.

OEM CDI should have 8G8-20 (78/79 in metal mousing) or 8H4-20 (1980 & up plastic housing) stamped on the side or end of the OEM CDI box to be compatible.

Same great features & WARRANTY as all FIREPLUG CDI models.

NOTE: Check your stator before ordering a CDI
(Although it’s usually the CDI that fails on this model, better to check & verify!)

OEM STATOR # 8H4-85511-20-00 RESISTANCE VALUES:
+/- 15%, values will lower if temperature under 70*F
BROWN to BLACK = 335-OHMS
BLUE to BLACK = 14-OHMS
BROWN to BLUE = 348-OHMS

W/RED to BLACK = 9.5-0HMS (trigger coil)
