Halogen Bulbs give up to twice the candlepower for better night vision. Most of the newer snow machines are OEM equipped with these bulbs. Gold Halogen Bulbs give better clarity on the overcast or hazy days. Blue Halogen Bulbs give less glare to oncoming traffic. Great for looking through the snow dust.
