Description

Woodys 6 in. Carbide Trail Blazer IV Flat-Top Wear Rods

Woody’s® runners perfectly fit and guard the ski, while offering a cutting edge on hard-packed snow and ice. When tightened, Flat-Top® design offers increased surface area for less flexing and rocking with greater support and better steering than round top runners. All runners are made of durable steel with a combination of 60° carbide, hard weld and wear pads except Top-Stock® Hard weld Runners, which have no wear pad or carbide inserts.

Trail Blazer IV Series:

  • 6 in. of 60 degree carbide
  • 1/2” round bar with Flat-Top® design
  • Provides safety and control for both studded and un-studded sleds

Extender Trail III Series:

  • 4 in. of 60 degree carbide
  • 7/16” round bar with Flat-Top® design
  • Entry-level carbide runner for lightly studded and un-studded sleds

Top Stock Hard weld Series:

  • Steel round bar with Flat-Top® design
  • Features strip of hard weld for added bar protection
  • Not recommended for sleds with more than 48 studs

NOTE: Some models require drilling extra holes in skis to mount carbides. Dennis Kirk recommends removing any paint from the studs with a wire brush.

All SPI products are tested before shipment to maintain the high level of quality that snowmobilers worldwide demand and most of the factories we use are ISO certified.

PRODUCT SPECIFIC TESTING INCLUDES:

  • Electrical testing reports.
  • 100% testing on cylinders.
  • 3D scanning and constant material analysis on pistons.
  • QC procedures on every step of the piston manufacturing process.
