Please note there is a possibility of two regulators with certain models depending on if it has a crank start or an electric start. These models include the following :
- Ski-Doo Expedition 550 2005
- Ski-Doo Skandic Tundra 300 2006-2008
- Ski-Doo Freestyle 550 2007-2008
- Ski-Doo MX Z 5502007
- Ski-Doo MX ZX 550 2009
For models with a crank starter as starting type, use part RM30914.
Before installing your new voltage regulator rectifier:
- Check the AC output of the stator.
- Replace any burned or corroded connectors on stator and regulator/rectifier.
- Check and repair any melted wiring.
- Use hi-temp dielectric grease on all connectors.
